Pleased to announce ... Breakaway Quartet is once again a quartet!
Many of you know that Don Mitchell, a founding member of Breakaway, resigned his position in December of last year to pursue a more active role in youth ministry.
 We are pleased to announce the addition of Johnny Riley as the newest member of Breakaway. Johnny possesses a unique range. He sings bass, baritone, lead and an occasional note or two in the tenor range. Johnny plays a variety of musical instruments including; banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar, lead guitar, dobro, harmonica, piano and bass guitar. He is also a stand-up comedian who has a "special knack" for songwriting.
Make plans to join Breakaway in the near future and welcome Johnny Riley to this ministry.
Thanks to all who have prayed that God would send the right person. We think that He has.

   What a BLESSINGS GOD poured out through the Music & the Singers at the Concert in Devers,TX Saturday night 4/26/08 and again Sunday Morning in Sante Fe,TX. The BEST part was that there was a Soul SAVED in each of the 2. That is what it is all about and why we SING FOR HIM!!! May GOD continur\e to Bless the Ministry of Breakaway, The Riley Family, and Lorryn LaDean. ALL PRAISE TO HIM!!!

Hey Phil, Mike and Kevin I just wanted to say what an awesome concert that you all put on at New Journey church in Baytown. That was the first time that I had ever heard of Breakaway. Phil, I just admire the love you have for our LORD. And no, my mother is not my younger sister and she almost got that whipping. LOL
